ROCK BRIDGE WRESTLING CLUB BEHAVIOR AGREEMENT/CONTRACT Rock Bridge Wrestling Club has worked very hard to earn a good reputation as a SPORTSMAN-LIKE club. In order to maintain that reputation, we are requiring each parent AND child to sign a contract stating that they understand and accept the behaviors that we expect at practices and tournaments. Non-conformance of these requirements can and will lead to suspension &/or dismissal from the club with NO REFUND of membership (or tournament fees, if applicable.)   PRACTICE EXPECTATIONS: Wrestlers are expected to listen and follow instructions of their primary or substitute coaches. Lack of participation, “goofing off,” back talk, fighting, name-calling,  picking on other wrestlers, teasing, and harassment of other wrestlers, etc. are unacceptable and will be disciplined. The parents will be called to come pick up the child and that child may be suspended from the next practice or tournament. Continued behaviors will be grounds for dismissal from the club. No fees will be refunded. Parent expectations: We do expect the parents to come and view their child's practices periodically. If a wrestler comes to practice and chooses not to participate, the parent(s) will be called to come and get the child. We are not a baby-sitting service and should not be treated as such. TOURNAMENT EXPECTATIONS: On the mat: Wrestlers are expected to listen to their coach. There will be no back-talk to either the coach or the referee, unsportsman-like conduct toward the coach, referee, or opposing wrestler and/or coach. Unsportsman-like conduct in ANY FORM on the mat will NOT be tolerated and are grounds for dismissal from the tournament and/or the club.  No fees will be returned. While waiting for your match: Wrestlers are expected to sit in the stands quietly with a parent or designee. Behaviors such as vandalism, fighting, harassment of another wrestler, and back-talk to officials or coaches are immediate grounds for dismissal from the tournament. This just will not be tolerated. Depending on the severity of the inappropriate behavior, dismissal from the club may follow. Again, no fees will be returned. Parents are expected to act sportsmanlike also. Please be a good role model for your child. “Out-of-control” parents will be asked to leave. Continued inappropriate behavior may lead to the dismissal of the wrestler from the club with no refund of membership or tournament fees. We accept the rules of behavior as written above and understand that other actions not listed above may constitute inappropriate behavior.
