Wrestling Room Rules / Policy

1. Have your wrestling equipment on before entering the wrestling    
     room. Example, wrestling shorts (no pockets, snaps, zippers, buttons),
     short sleeve shirt (no tank tops), headgear, and wrestling shoes.
     Be prepared to wrestle.
2. Wipe your wrestling shoes off before entering the room. No food or
    chewing gum is allowed in the wrestling room. Water bottles with a
    tight seal are allowed but must be kept off the mats.

3. There is no running, jumping, or activity which can lead to a wrestler             
    becoming injured allowed due to unsupervised activity.

4. You must ask an instructor for permission to leave the wrestling
    room or example, to get a drink or use the lavatory.

5. All wounds must be covered with an occlusive bandage to prevent
    further injury or bleeding. (check with an instructor before practice
    begins if you have a wound.)

6. When an instructor is speaking, remain quiet, pay attention to what
     is being instructed, and wait for the instructor to finish before asking
    questions.

7. To prevent injury, never try any wrestling maneuver in which you do
     not feel comfortable in performing. Ask the instructor for additional
     assistance. (Your safety is the concern of every instructor and must
     also be the concern of every wrestler.)

8. No wrestler will be allowed to leave once wrestling begins unless the  
    parent, guardian, or relative informs the primary facilitator.

9. Wrestling begins at 6:00 pm and finishes at 7:30 pm on Monday
     and Wednesday's unless otherwise notified.
